Egg Harbor Cafe

300 Village Green, Lincolnshire, IL
I went here with Cassandra on my last day in IL. We sat outside, which is why the photo is funky.
What I got: Alpine scramble (eggs with ham, green onions and cream cheese) with Harbor Potatoes and an English Muffin.
Cost: "Your money is no good here" - Cassandra
The breakfast was so good...adding cream cheese to anything is never a bad idea. I'm normally averse to cubed potatoes, but the seasoning made them some of the best hash browns I've had.
Again, go here if you get the chance. The atmosphere is kitschy and the food is outstanding. Cassandra got lunch, so her food doesn't get to be blogged about, but if you go here for lunch, get the chicken salad.
